…A grumpy cat picture.

This is Renfield, the smallest and most diva like of my two furbabies.

I’m often asked where her name comes from, as its a male name and she’s a little girl. It’s taken from the novel Dracula – if you ever watched the Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder film starring Gary Oldman then you might remember there was a character in the asylum who ate spiders and flies. That was Renfield. And she lives up to her name. Both Ren and her sister are indoor cats due to the number of dangerous and badly controlled dogs in my neighbourhood, and so they never (thankfully) bring me mice or dead birds. She is however a master fly and spider hunter.

She’s been particularly grumpy this week, and I came downstairs the other day to this look…
